The policy of the governing body is that all children will wear school uniform as listed below:
We expect children to be neatly dressed at all times and to respect their own and other people’s clothing.
Girls Winter Uniform:
- Grey pinafore dress or grey skirt* (skirts should be plain style or pleated without embroidery or tiers)
- White shirt
- Grey cardigan with the school badge
- Red tie
- Red or grey tights
- White or grey socks
- Black shoes (NOT trainers or boots)
- Dark coloured outer coat or jacket with no large logos
*Year 6 girls may wear dark grey trousers.
Girls Summer Uniform Reception – Year 5:
- Red & White striped dress
- Grey cardigan with the school badge
- Sandals (NOT sling backed)
- Dark light-weight rain coat
Girls Summer Uniform Year 6 only:
- White blouse
- Grey skirt
- Grey cardigan with school badge
Boys Winter Uniform:
- Grey long trousers
- White shirt
- Grey jumper with the school badge
- Red tie
- Grey socks
- Shoes (NOT trainers or boots)
- Dark coloured outer coat or jacket with no large logos
- Grey blazers may be worn by either boys or girls
Boys Summer Uniform:
- Red short sleeved polo shirt
- Grey shorts or long trousers
- Grey jumper with the school badge
- Grey socks
- Sandals or shoes
- Dark light-weight rain coat
PE Kit for Boys and Girls:
- Red shorts
- White polo shirt with school badge
- Change of socks
- A named shoe bag
- Plimsolls
- Grey school tracksuit
General
- No fashion haircuts permitted – all children should adhere to sensible hairstyles suitable for school.
- Boys should not have hair below collar length.
- Children are not permitted to wear gel, wax, mousse or other styling products.
- Hair styles should not be shorter than a grade 2 and have no designs.
- Hair accessories should be plain red, black or white with no fancy attachments or sparkles (this includes bows)
- Girls with long hair should tie it back.
- Plimsolls or a change of shoes should be available.
- Coats should be dark and suitable for school wear.
- All clothing must be clearly marked with the child’s name.
- Jewellery may not be worn. If your child wears stud earrings (no stones) they must be taped or removed for PE. KS2 may wear watches.
- Labelled water bottles.
- Children should not wear nail varnish.
- Ensure book bags and school bags do not have key rings or other accessories hanging from the handles.
- Summer hats are available from the school office.
- School ski hats can be worn in Winter – available from the school outfitter

Lost Property
Lost property will be kept for one month only – after which, where appropriate, donated to the local charity shop. Please make sure that all your children’s clothes – even socks, bags, p.e. bags and lunch boxes are named.
